Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct interviews with residents and applicants to verify income and family composition for HCV/Section 8 Programs.
  • Complete initial, interim, and transfer certifications in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and federal regulations.
  • Process reported changes for applicant and participating families using company’s software system.
  • Calculate monthly payments for housing assistance, tenant rent to owner, and utilities.
  • Perform walk-in duty to assist clients and conduct briefing sessions.
  • Update client records, answer questions, estimate subsidies, and perform additional duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
  • 3-5 years of strong admin experience and stability.
  • Proficient in Word/Excel.
  • Case management experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of college-level courses in Business Math, Social Work, Community Relations, or Communication, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in social work or a related field requiring contact with the public.
