Human Resources Manager
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 8am - 5pm - but has some flexibility as life happens
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Burton, OH that’s expanding its Shared Services team.
Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Burton, Ohio
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at our Burton, Ohio location. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This includes ensuring the effective management of recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and HR strategy development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure we hire qualified candidates.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.G., HRIS or HRMS).
