Human Resources Manager

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 8am - 5pm - but has some flexibility as life happens

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Burton, OH that’s expanding its Shared Services team. 
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and strategic workforce planning. This role partners closely with leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives while fostering a positive, engaging workplace culture. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, people-focused leader with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing talent and driving organizational success.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals and business objectives.

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment and selection efforts to attract and retain top talent.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees by addressing employee relations matters, resolving workplace concerns, and promoting a positive work environment.

  • Support workforce planning, employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.

  • Manage the performance management process, including performance evaluations, coaching, and employee development programs.

  • Administer compensation, benefits, and pay programs while ensuring competitiveness and compliance.

  • Assess organizational training needs and coordinate employee development and training initiatives.

  • Monitor and report HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation while supporting ongoing process improvements.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement throughout the organization.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or other progressive Human Resources leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience developing and implementing HR strategies that support business growth and organizational objectives.

  • Demonstrated experience with recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.

  • Experience utilizing HRIS/HRMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR metrics and workforce data.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build effective relationships and influence employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
