IHBT Counselor
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth and families? As an Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) Counselor, you’ll provide trauma-informed care and evidence-based mental health treatments directly in clients’ homes and communities. Join a supportive team that values professional growth, collaboration, and delivering high-quality services.
Responsibilities
- Provide home-based therapy and support for a small caseload of 4-6 youth/families.
- Offer flexible, on-call crisis response and face-to-face interventions as needed.
- Conduct safety assessments and develop personalized safety plans.
- Utilize trauma-informed mental health treatments and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in individual and group supervision, core training, and professional development.
- Collect client feedback to ensure effective and personalized care delivery.
- Bachelor’s level license in social work or related field.
- Proven experience working with youth, families, and groups addressing behavioral and emotional issues.
- Proficiency in trauma-informed care, family systems treatment, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and DSM-5/ICD-10 knowledge.
- Reliable transportation, car insurance, and a clean driving record.
