Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated IHBT Therapist to join our team in Akron, Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide intensive home-based therapeutic services to clients and their families, utilizing a strengths-based approach to support and empower individuals in overcoming challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver home-based therapeutic services to clients and families in Portage County.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure effective service delivery.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and progress.
- Engage in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure as an LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC preferred.
- Previous experience in IHBT or home-based therapy services is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in crisis intervention and problem-solving techniques.
- Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in service delivery.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to engage clients and families in therapeutic processes.
- Excellent organizational skills for documentation and case management.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and technology for service delivery.
