Responsibilities include:
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions for adults, focusing on psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
- Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation, including involvement in treatment planning and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, communicate with clients and outside referral sources, and actively participate in treatment plan revisions.
- Create thorough discharge plans to meet clients' aftercare needs, facilitating a continuum of care.
What you need to succeed:
- LSW, LPC, or above licensure.
- Passion for making a difference and working with psychiatric and substance abuse patient populations.
- Strong time management and documentation skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility, teamwork, and comfort with having difficult conversations are highly valued.
- MSW, independent licensure, or supervisory designation is a plus.
- Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients, group therapy, and the adult population is preferred.
