- Engaging with customers over the phone to provide information about our products and services, process orders, and address any complaints or cancellations.
- Maintaining consistent communication with the outside sales team, providing updates on quotations, backorder reports, collections issues, and weekly agendas.
- Actively soliciting new business and maintaining monthly forecasts by product line.
- Assisting in 60-day collection reports and supporting collection efforts for past due amounts.
- Collaborating with the Sales Manager to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Managing the customer database and developing new leads.
- Providing timely follow-up to internal and external customers.
- Preparing reports as required.
- Verifying changes or charges made to customer orders.
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree with at least 1 year of sales experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle situations professionally.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Above-average organizational skills, particularly with computer files and follow-up tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic with a "make it happen" attitude.
