What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with orders, quotes, and inquiries.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up.
- Maintain and update customer databases, track leads, and develop new business opportunities.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, ensuring accurate and timely responses to customer needs.
- Monitor collections and past-due accounts, assisting in follow-up as needed.
- Work with the Sales Manager to identify and implement process improvements.
- Answer incoming calls, process orders accurately, and ensure system entries are correct.
- Generate reports and sales forecasts, providing insights on product line growth.
What You Bring
- Associates degree and at least one year of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong technical skills – proficient in Excel (80%+), Word, and experience with AS400 is a plus.
- Organized and detail-oriented – ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
- Proactive and customer-driven – enjoys working with customers, problem-solving, and upselling.
- Strong work ethic with a “make it happen” attitude.
