Responsibilities include:
- Receive inquiry calls and assist callers in scheduling face-to-face assessments or referrals to appropriate community resources.
- Assess patients presenting for evaluation and screen for medical and behavioral emergencies.
- Provide comprehensive assessment and therapeutic care to patients with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric/emotional disorders, coordinating with the clinical team and on-call physician.
- Interpret treatment plans to patients and families to foster understanding and acceptance of care.
- Complete administrative processes for admission and precertification of care with external payers as required.
What you need to succeed:
- Hold an LSW, LPC, or RN license in good standing.
- Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Medic systems for reporting purposes.
- Flu shot required, with exemptions considered.
- CPR and CPI certification required within 30 days of employment.
