Inventory/Logistics Specialist
Setting/Hours: 100% in Office | Full-time
Location: Fairfield, Ohio
Job Type: Permanent
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory/Logistics Specialist to join our team at our Fairfield, Ohio location. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating logistics operations, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels;track orders and investigate problems.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and distribution.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Analyze data to anticipate future inventory needs and develop strategies for inventory optimization.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on inventory status and logistics operations.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inventory and logistics promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all logistics operations.
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or logistics.
- Certification in supply chain or logistics management is a plus.
