About the Role
As an Investment Operations Assistant, you’ll manage key administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth trading processes and accurate client account management. This detail-oriented role involves data management, transaction processing, and compliance support, all while providing opportunities to grow within a supportive team and gain valuable financial industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Account & Data Management:
- Prepare systems for daily trading, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile accounts using third-party reconciliation software.
- Set up and process new client accounts.
- Trade Support:
- Monitor the CAM-support inbox for trade-related inquiries.
- Process and upload trade data into custodian systems.
- Assist with daily trade processing to maintain efficiency.
- Reporting & Marketing:
- Generate and distribute accurate marketing reports.
- Update quarterly marketing materials and ensure timely distribution.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external use and post updates to the company website.
- Administrative Support:
- Organize and distribute mail, including FedEx shipments.
- Provide general administrative assistance to support team needs.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of administrative or operations experience in financial services preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Publisher and SS&C Advent products (APX and Moxy) is a plus.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
