Job Description
Lab Technician
trak group is partnering with a leading filtration manufacturer to find a Lab Technician who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. If you have a background in lab testing and want to support quality and innovation in a growing company, this is your chance to make an impact.

- Conduct physical property testing (e.g., basis weight, thickness, strength).
- Analyze test data and prepare detailed material test reports.
- Perform first article, in-process, and incoming material inspections.
- Create and maintain material specs, Certificates of Analysis/Conformance, and Defective Material Reports (DMRs).
- Support the quality team with SOP reviews and disposition of non-conforming products.
- Investigate customer complaints, determine root cause, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist sales team with material sampling and review supplier data for accuracy.
- 2+ years of lab experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience preferred (Epicor a plus).
- Strong math, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to make sound decisions and collaborate cross-functionally.
