Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Logistics Specialist to join our team in Fairfield, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient transportation and storage of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
- Ensure the timely delivery of goods and manage logistics schedules.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Analyze logistics data to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Prepare and manage documentation for shipments and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and company policies.
- Provide support in negotiating contracts and rates with carriers.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure the smooth execution of logistics operations.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with contract management and negotiation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and databases.
