Setting/Hours: Cleveland, Ohio | 2pm-10pm

Job Title: MRSS Crisis Therapist (Evenings)

Job Description:
The MRSS Crisis Therapist will provide immediate and professional crisis intervention services during evening hours to individuals and families experiencing acute mental health challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and providing therapeutic support in high-pressure situations. The therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and facilitate access to appropriate resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify crisis situations and determine appropriate intervention strategies.
- Provide direct therapeutic support and crisis intervention to clients and families in need.
- Develop and implement individualized crisis management plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance service delivery.
- Educate clients and families on coping strategies and available support systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage stressful situations.
- Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Knowledge of local mental health resources and referral processes.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in crisis intervention or related mental health services.
- Evening availability required.
