Maintenance Technician
trak group is partnering with a well-established manufacturer of precision steel components to hire a Maintenance Technician who can keep operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment, prioritizing repairs, and helping drive continuous improvement on the floor.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment, prioritizing repairs, and helping drive continuous improvement on the floor.

- Perform maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting
- Repair and replace gearboxes, belts, bearings, bushings, and other machine components
- Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Build, modify, and repair parts based on blueprints
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Research parts and assist in efficiency improvements
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and prioritize tasks as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience operating and maintaining general tool room machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, and metric measurements
- Familiarity with repetitive motion equipment, maintenance logs, and repair protocols
- Strong communication and flexibility with scheduling
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for 8–12 hour shifts
- Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, and reaching
- Exposure to oils, machinery, and moderate noise levels
