Responsibilities include:
- Lead safety management initiatives, ensuring adherence to all safety standards and effectively managing hazards.
- Drive proactive maintenance systems, including computerized maintenance management systems, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance.
- Oversee maintenance supervision and planning team, ensuring efficient prioritization and utilization of maintenance technicians.
- Participate in capital expenditure planning and execution, including shutdown planning and management of the Mobile Equipment Program.
- Manage the operation of the Apprenticeship Program and provide development planning for direct reports.
- Collaborate with the union to effectively resolve issues as they arise.
What you need to succeed:
- 8 years of experience in a management role, with a focus on managing large maintenance teams.
- Demonstrated experience with capital projects and PLC troubleshooting/light programming.
- Union experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from shop floor to executive team.
- Willingness to be available as backup for 24/7 operations.
