Responsibilities include:
- Set up, adjust, and maintain equipment, ensuring production and quality standards are met.
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems, taking corrective action as needed to maximize production throughput and quality.
- Perform routine start-up inspections, preventive maintenance checks, and troubleshooting on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and PLCs.
- Work from drawings, specifications, and instruction manuals to effectively maintain and repair equipment.
- Perform equipment changeovers and scheduled maintenance as needed.
What you need to succeed:
- Prior food experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school education.
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various equipment including Auger Fillers, Gable Top Carton Filling Machines, Vertical Form/Fill/Seal Machines, and more.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
