Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to scheduled timelines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in industrial machinery.
- Install, assemble, and test new equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations during all maintenance tasks.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanical or electrical maintenance is preferred.
