Maintenance Supervisor

Utilize your mechanical aptitude and experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Responsibilities include:

Supervise and direct hourly employees, assigning manpower and equipment for equipment repair and upgrades
Oversee planned preventative maintenance activities and manage equipment breakdown scenarios
Implement safety program goals to ensure a safe work environment
Identify problems, gather relevant information, and analyze effectively
Collaborate with the team to assess and prepare for upcoming shifts to meet safety requirements
Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed:

Operations/Maintenance experience with a focus on preventative maintenance
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in maintenance and mobile equipment repair
Preferred degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience in a union environment is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage people
Grit and adaptability, with military personnel fitting right in
Leadership skills to lead a steel union team
Proactive and aware, with the ability to plan and think ahead
Manufacturing industry experience
