Job Description
Maintenance Technician
Join a supportive and dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's machinery and equipment. This is an on-site position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Your expertise in electrical systems and PLCs, combined with your problem-solving skills, will make you a key contributor to our maintenance team.

Join a supportive and dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's machinery and equipment. This is an on-site position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Your expertise in electrical systems and PLCs, combined with your problem-solving skills, will make you a key contributor to our maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to maintain building, machinery, and equipment functionality.
- Support and optimize the new Brightly preventive maintenance platform for improved equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot issues independently and collaborate with the engineering staff on complex problems.
- Act as the primary maintenance resource for the facility, overseeing upkeep and evaluation of equipment.
- Conduct general maintenance inspections.
- Utilize specialized experience in electrical systems and PLC knowledge to address maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with external maintenance services when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards for plant infrastructure.
- Lead or assist in capex projects, working closely with the engineering group.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory and provide maintenance solutions for equipment, processes, and facilities.
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or PLC training are a plus.
- Previous maintenance experience, particularly in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work on call and outside of regular hours, including weekends as needed.
- Diverse Challenges: You'll be working on a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring no two days are the same.
- Key Contributor: As the primary maintenance tech, you'll have the opportunity to make significant improvements and lead essential projects.
