Responsibilities include:
- Assist the physician in the examination and treatment of patients.
- Interview patients and measure vital signs, recording information on patients’ charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Perform technical skills including EKGs, injections, venipuncture, and lab tests according to established guidelines.
- Support physicians and clinical staff, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
- Maintain high efficiency, organization, and time management in a medical setting.
- Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and phone communication skills, ensuring respect and courtesy towards patients and team members.
What you need to succeed:
- High School Degree.
- Medical Assistant experience and/or formal education.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (BLS).
- Skills in EKG, injections, and venipuncture.
- Up to 1 year of experience in a physician’s office or related setting.
- Willingness to learn and be teachable.
- Team player attitude with a commitment to quality patient care.
