Responsibilities include:
- Assisting physicians in examination and treatment of patients.
- Performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of the physician.
- Interviewing patients and recording vital signs.
- Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Accompanying providers into every room, assisting with bloodwork, injections, vitals, nonstress tests (NST), and results.
- Handling in baskets, refills, and answering phones during non-provider interaction times.
- Cross-training to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care.
- Maintaining professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to quality patient care.
- by the company, responding to immediate operational needs.
What you need to succeed:
- Comfortable with blood draws OR injections (having both is highly preferred).
- Medical assisting experience OR formal education, with a willingness to handle blood draws and injections.
- OBGYN experience highly preferred.
- Comfortable wearing many hats and staying busy.
- Strong computer skills (Epic experience preferred).
- Ability to administer flu shots.
