Responsibilities include:
- Answering, handling, and screening incoming telephone calls.
- Greeting and registering patients, filing, and preparing charts.
- Performing check-out functions, including reviewing encounter form data, collecting co-payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Completing daily bank deposits and day-end reconciliation duties.
- Completing charge/receipt-entry and charge-receipt summaries for all office-related services in some locations.
- Assisting with triage work or learning it as needed.
- Comfortably performing blood draws and injections.
What you need to succeed:
- Reliable and professional with a neat and tidy appearance.
- Teachable and willing to learn new skills.
- Comfortable with blood draws and injections (experience preferred).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Strong computer skills, preferably with experience using Epic or other EMR systems.
- Women’s health experience would be a HUGE PLUS.
