Responsibilities include:
  • Answering, handling, and screening incoming telephone calls.
  • Greeting and registering patients, filing, and preparing charts.
  • Performing check-out functions, including reviewing encounter form data, collecting co-payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Completing daily bank deposits and day-end reconciliation duties.
  • Completing charge/receipt-entry and charge-receipt summaries for all office-related services in some locations.
  • Assisting with triage work or learning it as needed.
  • Comfortably performing blood draws and injections.

What you need to succeed:
  • Reliable and professional with a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Teachable and willing to learn new skills.
  • Comfortable with blood draws and injections (experience preferred).
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Strong computer skills, preferably with experience using Epic or other EMR systems.
  • Women’s health experience would be a HUGE PLUS.
