New Business Development Manager

Responsibilities include:
  1. Opportunity Identification, Engagement & Outreach: Proactively identify and assess new business opportunities through in-depth market analysis, seeking potential partnerships, and uncovering untapped revenue streams. Strategically engage with these opportunities using targeted outreach efforts to establish connections, initiate dialogue, and cultivate new customer relationships.
  2. Marketing Collaboration and Lead Management: Collaborate with our third-party marketing team to develop and refine lead generation strategies, ensuring a seamless handoff of incoming leads from the website. Take responsibility for promptly following up on these leads and quickly engaging potential clients to convert initial interest into tangible business opportunities.
  3. Quote Presentation and Deal Closure: Present comprehensive and competitive sales quotes to potential clients, articulating the value proposition clearly. Manage the negotiation and closure process, ensuring quotes meet client requirements and company profitability targets while facilitating a smooth transition from initial quote acceptance to final deal signing.
  4. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and address customer needs effectively.
  5. Technical Support & Customer Engagement: Provide technical support by fully understanding customer requirements, delivering tailored proposals, and helping customers comprehend our offerings' technical aspects and advantages. Ensure clarity and alignment throughout the proposal process to build customer confidence and facilitate informed decision-making.
  6. Reporting and Performance Tracking: Generate regular reports on sales activities and pipeline reviews utilizing the CRM and other tools as needed.
  7. Develop Sales Strategies: Formulate comprehensive plans and strategies aligned with our company's vision to achieve business objectives, increase brand awareness, and drive sales growth.
  8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with internal teams, including sales, account management, quality, warehouse operations, and marketing, to ensure cohesive strategy execution and operational alignment.
  9. Flexibility & Support: Execute and support any other activities or projects as defined by the company, responding to immediate operational needs.

What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • A solid understanding of engineering or technical processes, enabling the effective communication of complex product specifications.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a business development role, with a proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Proven ability to swiftly respond to customer needs, with a commitment to excellence in service and maintaining engagement through prompt feedback and follow-up actions.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, capable of conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders and cultivate partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, effectively articulating value propositions and engaging diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in CRM and data analysis tools, with the ability to leverage technology to streamline processes and enhance business intelligence.
