Responsibilities include:
- Act as a mentor and leader within the NPD team, guiding team members with less experience in new product development projects.
- Contribute to the development and execution of new product development initiatives, focusing on innovation and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Utilize knowledge of VBA programming language to facilitate communication between panels and pumps, though coding is not required.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, including one large project with a timeline of 2-3 years, as well as smaller projects concurrently.
What you need to succeed:
- 5-6 years of experience in new product development, preferably in automotive or water pumps industries.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and coach team members effectively.
- Knowledge of Solid Edge and ASME Certification is a plus, though not required.
- CSA Certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with compressors is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn and adapt, with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
