Responsibilities:
- Oversee purchasing of all products and materials to support operations
- Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of required materials
- Communicate effectively with vendors, building and maintaining productive relationships
- Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with suppliers for optimal pricing and terms
- Research and evaluate potential new suppliers for quality and cost-effectiveness
- Assess the quality of products and ensure adherence to specifications
- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or buying, preferably within a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven negotiation skills, particularly in handling terms and contracts with external suppliers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at managing vendor relationships
