- Handle all purchasing for products and materials to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate supply levels.
- Communicate with existing vendors and research potential new suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor and partner relationships.
- Evaluate product quality and supplier performance.
- Support upcoming ERP implementation (Q3); currently working in Excel.
- 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or buying.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience managing operations without an ERP system is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong follow-through.
- Willingness to visit a local manufacturing site weekly and travel to out-of-state plants 2–3 times per year.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
