Outpatient Therapist - Adolescents - Dayton

What You’ll Do
Job Title: Outpatient Therapist - Adolescents

Location: Dayton, Ohio

Job Type: Permanent

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Therapist specializing in adolescent care to join our team. The therapist will provide individual and group therapy sessions for adolescents experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to adolescents in an outpatient setting.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other community resources to support client progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in adolescent therapy.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as an LPC, LPCC, LSW, or LISW.
- Experience working with adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Skills:
- Proficiency in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Cultural competency and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with adolescents and their families.
