Responsibilities include:
  • Full Cycle Payroll: Manage the end-to-end payroll process through manual procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Share responsibilities with fellow payroll specialists to handle a workforce of 2000 employees effectively.
  • Multi-State Payroll: Process and guarantee weekly payroll for our multi-state workforce, navigating the complexities of different regulations.
  • Compliance Assurance: Handle legal-related payroll documents and ensure strict compliance with garnishments, levies, support orders, and federal, state, and local payroll tax withholding.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Skillfully reconcile accounts and accruals to the General Ledger, maintaining financial accuracy.
  • Finance Partnership: Collaborate closely with the finance team to provide essential financial payroll reports.
  • Onboarding: Play an integral role in the onboarding process for new hires.
What you need to succeed:
  • Strong Decision-Making: Exhibit robust decision-making skills, as this role offers a degree of autonomy in managing payroll processes.
  • High-Volume Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in high-volume payroll processing, ensuring timeliness and precision.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a meticulous approach to tasks, consistently delivering accurate results.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software is essential.
  • Experience: Possess 3-5 years of payroll processing experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of the payroll domain.
