Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, benefits, garnishments, and tax withholdings.
- Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues related to employee pay.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist in year-end audits and tax filings.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and benefit deductions.
- Stay informed on changes to payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle confidential information.
- Effective communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of payroll experience in a similar role.
