Policy Issue Specialist

- Issue all types of life insurance and trust policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy contract language and state regulations.
- Open mail/faxes and prepare new business vouchers.
- Review applications and process pending policies.
- Perform client service activities, including answering inquiries, making policy changes, and handling premium accounting.
- Provide field training and assistance as needed.
- Prepare for Texas Banking Audit.
- Process and monitor 1035 Exchanges.
- Provide daily reports to Senior Management regarding outstanding policies, issued policies, and agent training issues.
- Process returned applications and correct errors on issued policies.
- Answer the main customer service line.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of life insurance experience and/or LOMA matriculation is desirable.
- Strong clerical experience with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to learn the business.
- Maturity and professionalism.
- Non-smoker.
- Life Insurance Experience a plus.
