Job Title: Press Brake Operator Supervisor
Location: Florence, KY
Job Type: Permanent
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our manufacturing facility in Florence, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of press brake operators, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing workflow to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of press brake operators, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal according to specifications.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Maintain and enforce safety standards and protocols within the work area.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to machine performance or product quality.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a press brake operator and supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of press brake machine operations and metal fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;technical or vocational training in metal fabrication preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in press brake operation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
