Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer with a focus on chemical engineering to join our team at our Fairfield, Ohio facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process designs for chemical manufacturing operations.
- Analyze and improve existing processes to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols in chemical processes.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and develop corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation of process developments and modifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in process engineering within the chemical industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations relevant to chemical processing.
