Job Title: Contract Procurement Specialist
Location: Fairfield, Ohio
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Procurement Specialist to join our team in Fairfield, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in procurement and contract management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-making.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and supplier capabilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or contract management.
