Production Associate
Setting/Hours: | Mon-Fri 6am-2: 30pm
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team.
Position Summary:
The Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing components, assembling finished products, and performing assigned soldering processes (such as soldering components, configuring cables, and wiring). This role follows all production control documentation and Quality System requirements. The Production Associate works under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor and is accountable for the quality and accuracy of their work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Assist with the movement of materials through workstations;properly label all bins and trays.
•Ensure all products meet current quality requirements and standards.
•Raise issues or concerns regarding components, processes, or documentation when necessary.
•Operate equipment and follow processes as outlined in process specifications.
•Accurately document time to the appropriate manufacturing orders.
•Follow all production rules and process specifications.
•Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the department or center of excellence.
Additional Functions:
•Maintain regular and predictable attendance on-site.
•Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
•Prioritize tasks and multitask as needed.
•Work collaboratively and professionally with team members.
•Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Ability to handle and assemble small parts.
•Soldering experience.
•Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•Experience working with chemicals and solvents in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred / Valued Skills:
•Strong manual dexterity for assembling small components.
•Effective oral and written communication skills.
•Professional and positive interactions with colleagues.
•Willingness to learn new skills and acquire additional knowledge.
