Production Coordinator
Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | First Shift
Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
Create and issue work orders for new projects based on production schedules and customer promise dates.
Ensure work orders are detailed and accurately reflect materials, inventory, and drawing requirements.
Collaborate with the Director of Purchasing & Inventory Control to confirm material availability.
Review projects on the shop floor to verify alignment with work order specifications.
Monitor work orders and update ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
Identify inefficiencies in the work-order process and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as a liaison between shop floor personnel, drafting, and production management.
Process and fulfill basic parts orders from existing inventory.
Track and replenish truck stock inventory for field service technicians.
Audit jobs in process to ensure quality control and compliance with drawings and work orders.
Requirements:
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production workflows.
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
Detail-oriented, process-driven, and highly organized.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
