Production Scheduler
We are seeking a Production Scheduler to play a key role in coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. This role is essential for maximizing operational efficiency and managing resources effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to play a key role in coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. This role is essential for maximizing operational efficiency and managing resources effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize ERP software (Plex experience a plus) to develop and maintain production schedules
- Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to prioritize production orders and allocate resources efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with procurement teams to ensure material availability
- Analyze production capacity and identify opportunities to improve throughput and reduce lead times
- Communicate schedules and updates to production, quality, and customer service teams
- Manage minimum inventory levels of finished goods to balance customer demands and inventory control
- Organize work centers for the production floor, managing lead times and programs to meet delivery demands
- Track and issue jobs for assigned work centers, including rework processes
- Assist in managing material deliveries and expedite orders when necessary
- 5 years of scheduling and production control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Background in metal fabrication
- Strong analytical skills with experience using ERP systems (Plex preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines
