Your Impact in This Role
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems, bringing creativity and expertise to both new and existing products
  • Utilize your SolidWorks expertise to drive innovation in electro-mechanical equipment design, with a focus on manufacturability (DFM)
  • Collaborate on projects involving plastic injection, rotational molding, blow molding, extrusion, and sheet metal design
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams, working closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Manufacturing departments to ensure project success
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives, process development, and root cause analysis to enhance product quality and efficiency
What You Bring to The Table
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with 5+ years of design experience
  • Strong competency in component and system-level mechanical design, with consideration given to candidates with less experience if they demonstrate significant skills
  • Over 5 years of SolidWorks experience preferred
  • Background in designing electro-mechanical equipment, with a basic understanding of circuitry and control systems
  • Experience in industries such as medical devices, capital equipment, consumer goods, or similar fields
  • Knowledge of project management, including schedule creation and management
  • Familiarity with DFM, FMEA, simulation (FEA/CFD), BOM development, and change management processes (ECN/ECO/ECR)
