- Develop efficient machining processes based on customer drawings, models, and specifications.
- Evaluate and improve production methods to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Create and maintain process routings and operation instructions.
- Provide technical support and collaborate with shop floor teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Assist in quoting work and analyzing job profitability.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts using Six Sigma tools.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and industry standards.
- Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (OR equivalent experience in machining).
- Strong understanding of machining processes—both conventional and non-conventional.
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX, AutoCAD, or similar) and standard gauges (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyze blueprints and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus!
