Job Description
Project Manager
trak group is partnering with a leading engineering and manufacturing organization to find a Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering who thrives in a hands-on, problem-solving role.

- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with specifications and customer expectations.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and internal benchmarks to meet delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, and installation teams, as well as external subcontractors.
- Oversee on-site start-up and commissioning of equipment.
- Review project contracts, design documents, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
- Develop project timelines, cost reports, and work-in-progress (WIP) reports for internal review.
- Lead customer communications, ensuring clarity on submittals, production schedules, and any changes throughout the review process.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Sciences, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a related field, with project management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD (3D capabilities a plus).
- Understanding of electronic controllers, instruments, and variable water volume pumping or a desire to learn.
- Ability to interpret building plans, engineering designs, and material compatibility requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management certification is a plus.
