Responsibilities
Office Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Manage correspondence, emails, and phone calls professionally with customers and suppliers.
  • Implement and promote Lean/5S practices to enhance efficiency.
Technical Purchasing:
  • Source and procure materials, components, and equipment for projects and operations.
  • Build relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage procurement budgets, and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to fulfill technical specifications.
Cross-Functional Support:
  • Coordinate internal communications and assist with project timelines.
  • Manage ERP data to track purchases and office resources accurately.
  • Handle accounts receivable/payable and assist with transporting materials as needed.

Qualifications
Must Have:
  • Strong organizational and task management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to drive a pickup truck with a trailer.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Lean/5S practices to promote efficiency.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement processes.
  • Basic understanding of engineering/manufacturing terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of business accounting practices.
