Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the purchasing process for all raw materials and Asian goods.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to establish safety stock levels, reorder points, and lead times for materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
- Address and resolve supplier discrepancies, quality issues, and other conflicts.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure cost-effectiveness in material and freight costs.
- Provide regular updates on material costs to support product costing and pricing decisions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and manage risk assessments to ensure reliable supply chains.
- 5+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to negotiate and build strong supplier relationships.
- Growth-oriented, ready to help take the business to the next level.
- Experience collaborating across teams to drive company-wide goals.
