- Oversee day-to-day operations of the procurement process, ensuring the best price to the highest quality standards at acceptable lead times.
- Manage procurement documents for compliance with policies, guidelines, and laws, utilizing contracts, best practices, spend analysis, and supplier management techniques.
- Monitor and manage inventory and supplier relationships, proactively responding to prevent business disruptions.
- Purchase challenging, sometimes unique or obsolescent parts, collaborating with other department managers for specification refinement.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Procurement Manager in developing procedures, controls, and department strategic initiatives.
- Travel up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of Supply Chain experience.
- 4+ years Team Lead/Supervisory experience.
- Leadership in a purchasing role.
- Process improvement mindset – implementing changes within ERP (D365).
- Experience with tens of thousands of SKUs, especially in an aftermarket environment.
