Job Description
Quality Coordinator
trak group is hiring a Quality Coordinator to support a growing manufacturing company with a strong commitment to innovation, safety, and continuous improvement. - Create and manage Defective Material Reports (DMRs)
- Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly
- Conduct physical property testing (basis weight, thickness, strength, etc.)
- Perform first article, in-process, and incoming material inspections
- Maintain and update material specifications and SOP documentation
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support the sales team with product samples and specifications
- Review supplier data and documentation as part of quality assurance
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis and Conformance for outgoing materials
- Assist with internal floor audits and ensure compliance with ISO and safety standards
- 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025 standards
- College degree or equivalent required
- Experience with physical laboratory testing strongly preferred
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate Epicor (or similar ERP systems)
