Responsibilities include:
  • Provide invaluable support to our manufacturing process by ensuring product test procedures, equipment, and quality standards are met.
  • Play a pivotal role in developing part inspection plans, testing strategies, and reliability plans for new and existing products, guaranteeing uncompromised quality and safety.
  • Create and implement programs to identify and analyze product failures, aiming to minimize warranty costs.
  • Lead the way in field evaluation and support, including field testing and audits of new product launches.
  • Champion quality systems such as ISO9001, UL, NSF, ETL, ASTM, and ANSI, driving continuous improvement and reducing warranty rates.
  • Empower your team through leadership, motivation, and fostering a culture of growth and productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Engineering, Service, and more, to ensure seamless quality integration and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize your expertise in Quality Engineering, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and core tools to uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Manage personnel effectively, promoting motivation, growth, and productivity within the organization.
What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, quality, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a background in ISO 9001 systems and supplier quality management.
  • Proficiency in Part Inspection, GD&T, CTQ, and AQL, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on precision and organization.
  • Exceptional mathematical and GD&T skills to handle complex engineering challenges.
  • Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – including the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and collaboration across diverse functional groups.
  • A passion for systematic information gathering and timely decision-making.
