Job Title: Contract Quality Inspector - Mechanical
Location: Fairfield, Ohio
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Quality Inspector with expertise in mechanical systems to join our team at our Fairfield, Ohio location. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical components and products meet quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment to perform detailed inspections.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to identify quality requirements.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
- Assist in the development of quality control procedures and inspection plans.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and quality standards.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with quality management systems and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;technical training in mechanical inspection preferred.
- Previous experience in a mechanical quality inspection role.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for quality assurance.
Contract Details:
- This is a contract position with competitive hourly compensation.
- Flexible working hours with potential for overtime as needed.
