Quality Manager
What you need to succeed:

3+ years in a Manufacturing Quality setting
Bachelors' degree OR progressive experience in Quality Control/Assurance setting
Ability to supervise team of 3 techs, 1 co-op
Interface with customers (GE is largest currently)
Familiarity with Quality standards in a regulated industry (Aerospace/Aviation preferred)
ISO/AS9100 systems (or equivalent), problem-solving (8D method), and PPAP’s/FAI’s experience
Detail oriented and self-motivated and have the ability to lead in a dynamic and challenging manufacturing environment
Hands on experience applying quality principles
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in quality
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Responsibilities include:

This role has the freedom to identify problems related to quality and correct them, initiate action for their correction, or stop any work or activity that violates the established quality standards
Understanding customer expectations of and needs from a product
Developing quality control processes
Ensuring products are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards
Supervising staff and monitoring production standards
Examining the quality of raw materials that are used in production
Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes
Evaluating the final output of products to determine their quality
Rejecting products that fail quality standards
Engaging with customers and gathering product feedback
Producing statistical reports on quality standards
Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues
