Responsibilities include:
- Lead implementation of new Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015) software and provide ongoing administration
- Lead the expansion and sustainment of a committed quality culture throughout the entire value chain
- Translate customer, industry, and regulatory requirements into appropriate manufacturing and inspection methods
- Ensure product quality consistently complies with internal Quality Management System guidelines and customer requirements
- Lead containment, root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive actions
- Manage quality metrics and address costs of poor quality to achieve business goals
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams on process control and optimization projects
- Develop and refine advanced problem-solving and process improvement methods
- Maintain strong communication with customers, internal management team, and vendors regarding quality concerns
What you need to succeed:
- BS in an Engineering discipline (Master's or MBA helpful)
- Prior experience leading the implementation of ISO 9001 standards and QMS Software
- 7+ years' experience in Manufacturing with at least 5 managing quality assurance and continuous improvement teams
- 5 years' experience in Plastics HIGHLY preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt - Black Belt preferred
- Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer preferred
