Are you ready to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and quality of globally recognized products? We're looking for a Quality Technician to join a dynamic team and help maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This day shift position operates on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, offering a unique work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing and audits to ensure products meet quality specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production equipment sanitation, startup, and performance for compliance.
- Maintain, calibrate, and operate test equipment following lab standard operating procedures.
- Collect and input data into the lab management system to monitor product quality.
- Conduct environmental audits and oversee plant GMP compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including technical projects and cost reduction strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality assurance across the production process.
- 3+ years of experience in a laboratory quality assurance role (Food, Flavor, or Chemical industries preferred).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
